Viessmann announced the launch of the Vitocal 100‑AW, a high‑efficiency air‑to‑water heat pump system engineered to provide heating, cooling, and domestic hot water in a single, all‑in‑one solution for residential applications.
Designed for both new construction and retrofit projects, the Vitocal 100‑AW includes an outdoor unit, indoor unit, and integrated buffer tank for faster installation and simplified system design. The system is available in three capacity sizes—1.5, 3.0, and 4.3 tons for cooling, with heating capacities ranging from 20.5 to 58 MBH, enabling flexible hydronic applications such as radiant heating, forced air, chilled panels, and domestic hot water.
The Vitocal 100‑AW delivers exceptional energy efficiency, achieving up to 4.9 COP and 16.8 EER, helping homeowners lower operating costs while supporting electrification and sustainability goals. The system uses R32 refrigerant, offering a lower global warming potential and future‑ready compliance.
Designed for residential comfort, the Vitocal 100‑AW operates quietly, with sound levels between 52 and 56 dB, and ships installation‑ready with fittings included. Optional Vitocell 100‑V indirect tanks allow the system to efficiently supply domestic hot water without the need for a separate heat pump water heater.
