Commitment to Customer Safety - COVID-19

We are committed to meeting or exceeding all guidelines and standards proposed by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to do our part to impede the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus.

Viessmann Flags

At Viessmann US, our highest priority is the safety and wellbeing of our customers, partners, visitors, and employees while maintaining our commitment to delivering the highest quality heating and renewable energy products in the industry. We are committed to meeting or exceeding all guidelines and standards proposed by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to do our part to impede the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus.

Viessmann US is taking these measures out of an abundance of caution and to be proactive in its approach. As of this date, no employees of Viessmann US have been exposed to or infected with COVID-19 Coronavirus. We pledge that we will be open and transparent, and communicate with our customers in a timely manner regarding any measures taken for the health, safety, and wellbeing of our customers and employees.

Therefore, Viessmann is taking the following measures effective immediately. We will monitor the situation continuously, evaluate, and take additional action if needed:

The Viessmann US Academy (UPDATED: Sept. 13, 2021)

In-person training sessions at the Warwick, RI headquarters has resumed on a  dedicated/closed training basis. Contact your local sales representative if you are interested in training. Please note that until further notice, for the safety of our employees and guests, regardless of your vaccination status, guests of the Academy will be required to wear a mask while on the Viessmann premises. Click  HERE  to review the official  policy guidelines. Questions or concerns should be directed to the Academy Manager, Miranda Gettling (GegM@viessmann.com, 401-256-7474).

Trade Shows

All trade show participation will be suspended during the duration of these precautionary measures due to the elevated risk of exposure at such events. It is important to note that Viessmann currently has no Trade Shows that it is planning to be an exhibitor at during the above referenced timeframe.

Sales: We recognize that travel and social interaction are an integral part of the Sales process in our industry, and that relationships are key to our and our customers success. If you prefer Sales activities be performed with telephone calls and digital meetings rather than in-person visits, we will accommodate any such request.

Environmental

Viessmann is also taking proactive precautionary measures that are compliant with CDC protocols and suggestions. A few examples include extraordinary cleaning measures of the Warwick, RI USA headquarters, providing employees with opportunities to practice “Social Separation” (the performance of work remotely or without unnecessary travel and/or person-to-person contact).

Shipment of Products

We want to reassure our partners regarding products from Europe. The overwhelming majority of Viessmann’s products are shipped via sea freight and take 21 days or longer to arrive port-to-port before reaching our US warehouse. This span of time, to the best of our knowledge, and in accordance with CDC guidelines, should serve to alleviate fears of by-transit transmission of COVID-19 Coronavirus. To the best of experts knowledge, Coronavirus is transmitted through person to person contact, so transmission via cargo should not concern our customers as a transmission vector. In addition, at this time, there should be no impact to product availability.

Technical Support

Viessmann will continue to provide technical support to its customer and user base during this time, however site visits and travel may be restricted during this time.

Transparency, Flexibility, and Commitment to Safety

Our highest priority is the safety and wellbeing of our customers and employees, while maintaining the highest customer service standards and experience. We recognize that our partners may have questions or concerns not addressed herein, and we pledge to address any and all concerns in a timely, and transparent manner.

We will do our best to be sensitive and flexible to the needs of our partners during this time, while maintaining our commitment to continue delivering best-in-industry products and services. We therefore encourage our customers and partners to contact us with any questions or concerns they may have.

Viessmann US has your safety and well being at the forefront of its priorities, but also your peace of mind. Our goal is to conduct business in a healthy and safe way consistent with the needs of our business partners. We are taking these measures out of an abundance of caution, and to be proactive in our response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak.
